Premature Ejaculation Causes 4

The next cause of premature ejaculation, is a very powerful one. What is it? It’s the Mind.

Although this may sound a little far out and Zen to some people, it’s difficult to argue against the fact that whatever you focus on, you attract more of. Let me give you an example to make this clearer.

If you focus on the physical feelings of sex, they will become stronger, because you’re paying so much attention to them. If you focus on not ejaculating, you’ll be thinking about it a lot… which is going to cause you to ejaculate.

Part of sex is about being in the moment. Try not to become distracted with the other thoughts that come into your head. Turn down the internal voice that is full f anxiety and worry about ejaculating too soon, or giving your partner an orgasm as soon as possible.

Although I’ve said it before, you need to learn how to relax and enjoy the moment… and not panic about what may or may not happen.

So when you feel your attention move away from the moment, bring yourself back into your body and focus on the moment. The feelings and pleasure of sex should help bring your attention back to the moment, and listen to your body.

Premature Ejaculation Causes Part 3

Recently sex therapists have discovered the possibility that many people who ejaculate prematurely may be like that, simply because they have conditioned themselves to come quickly. And that conditioning has become some ingrained and natural, that you sub-consciously cause yourself to ejaculate prematurely, no matter if you want to or not.

It certainly does seem quite possible for this to be the case for many men. For example, when you were younger, many of your sexual experiences and encounters were likely to be rushed, for fear of being caught. Sounds plausible enough, right?

And because of the “rush” to have and finish having sex, you have engrained that into your subconscious mind. Also, how many of you have conditioned yourself to ejaculate prematurely through masturbation? (Go on, be honest with yourself).

These things have probably contributed in some way to your premature ejaculation. But they can be overcome with the right exercises and a little time.

Premature Ejaculation Causes Part 2

Today I will carry on with the causes of premature ejaculation. The next most common reason for men to premature ejaculate, is something I will put under the category of “anxiety”.

You can probably understand what I’m getting at here, but to make it more understandable I’ll go into more detail.

Some of the most common forms of anxiety during sex are things like self doubt, time pressure, performance anxiety, and ironically… trying not to ejaculate prematurely.

These are the most common, but there are some other things that can create anxiety. Things like worrying about being caught, worry about STI’s or pregnancy, and simply being tired. If you are religious, you may have other moral pressures as well.

All of these things build up to cause anxiety and tension. As I’ve said before in an earlier post, you need to be relaxed to fully enjoy sex, and to avoid premature ejaculation. So you can see why these things I’ve listed are counter-productive to curing your problem.

As difficult as these things seem impossible overcome, it is possible. I will talk about different ways that have worked for other men in the past on how to outgrow these problems. But remember, relaxation is the key.

How To Cure Premature Ejaculation

Premature ejaculation is something that effects between 30 to 40% of men, and nearly all men suffer from it at some point in their lives. As you may already know, it can be an embarrassing subject to discuss with a doctor…so with this in mind, I will reveal to you some proven methods of curing premature ejaculation on your own, without having to talk to anyone else about it.

Here are the techniques:

Relax. This is the most important thing you can do. If you’re worrying about ejaculating prematurely, you will create a self-fulfilling prophecy and cause it to happen. Learn how to relax your self properly. Learn to breathe correctly, buy a relaxation tape, whatever it takes for you to learn how to relax.

Sort out relationship problems. If it is causing a problem in your relationship, then most likely you have relationship problems as well. If this is the case, then you need to work on relationship problems first. If

Exercise your pelvic floor. It’s possible gain much more control over ejaculation if you have strong pelvic floor muscles. You can strengthen these muscles with a couple of exercises which I’ll describe to you now. Before you do these exercises, you need to make sure that you’re using the correct muscles, otherwise you’re just wasting your time.

Here’s how to locate the correct muscles: When you next urinate, practice stopping before you’re finished…and then starting again. Those muscles are the pelvic floor muscles.

Here’s the first exercise:
This exercise involves pulling the muscles in and holding for 10 seconds. Make absolutely sure that you’re not holding your breath. Repeat this exercise 10 times.
Here’s the second exercise:
The second exercise is just the same as before, but you need to hold for 30 seconds, and repeat 10 times. Again, make sure you’re not holding your breath or tensing anywhere that you shouldn’t, such as your abdominals or buttocks.
You should try and do these exercises every morning and every evening. It may take a few weeks before you see noticeable results, but if you keep doing them you will gain greater control over when you ejaculate.

Stop and start. This is exactly what it sounds like, and is perhaps the most common technique taught in sexual therapy. To do this, you practice stimulating yourself until just before ejaculation, and then you stop. You do this three times.

Changing stroke. Once you can do the stop and start technique, you can more on to this technique. This is basically the same, but instead of stopping altogether, you change the stimulation to something less simulating.

Change positions. This is like the stop and start technique…only you use it for intercourse. When the sensation of ejaculation becomes strong, change positions…or decrease the stimulation until the sensation subsides.
In you practice the techniques and exercises I’ve described to you, you will see noticeable results in overcoming your premature ejaculation.
